What is the Speaker Club?
A three week online course running from 13th – 31st January 2025 designed to transform how you feel about the way you communicate.
How does it work?
Speaker Club is an interactive course, using a combination of our popular digital resource ‘The Agile Speaker Presentation Masterclass’ and live Q&A sessions with Maryanne Johnston.
The course has been designed to advance your speaking skills and help increase your confidence in a huge range of settings including job interviews; presenting online; returning to work; networking events; public speaking and pitching competitions.
You’ll be supported throughout via email and a private Facebook group, which is also a hub of inspiration, encouragement, and networking opportunities.

Week 3
Using visual aids: How to support your message, not distract your listener

Handling questions: How to plan for Q&A and handle challenging questions
- Predicting, preparing and planning for questions
- Handling questions using your conversational style

You’ll receive access to ‘The Agile Speaker’ masterclass for you to work through at your own pace over the 3 week programme.
We’ll hold a Focus Hour on the 2nd and 3rd Thursdays to allow you a dedicated session to work on any presentations or meetings you have coming up.
A live Q&A session with Maryanne will take place on the Friday of each week where we can discuss anything from how you are finding the course, to specific questions, or real-life issues.

How much time will it take?
You’ll comfortably complete the video content in 45-60 mins per week.
Plus there’s a 1 hour weekly Live Q&A session with Maryanne.
In weeks 2 & 3 we’ll run a Focus Hour; a dedicated time to work on what you’ve learned that week.
Is there an opportunity to practise a short presentation and receive feedback?
Our Private Facebook Group is a space for participants to upload and share any presentations they’re working on and receive peer to peer feedback.
What if I can’t join live?
No problem, the weekly Live Q&A sessions will be recorded and shared with the group. If you have a questions and are unable to attend live, use the Facebook group to send a question or drop me an email.
How long do I have access to the materials for?
You’ll have unlimited access to The Agile Speaker Masterclass and Zoom recordings for 12 months.
