The companies taking part need to articulate their pitch to a variety of audiences. Maryanne ran a series of half-day workshops on preparing and delivering a pitch which included presentation strategy and content structure.

Following the successful delivery of an initial Pitching Skills Workshop in 2017, Maryanne was commissioned to deliver a remote solution to combat the geographic constraints of the region. It was a great success.
Amiqus
Amiqus build online tools to give individuals and small businesses free and open access to legal information that would typically be out of reach, helping them make informed decisions about their legal choices.
Their Founder and CEO, Callum Murray, first worked with Maryanne at EIE16 pitch training and the results speak for themselves.
Turtle Pack
Michael Harkins, the founder of The Turtle Pack Swim Academy, was first introduced to Maryanne at the Elevator Pitch Workshop as part of Converge Challenge.
They worked hard to ensure Michael’s personality shone through and helped him overcome his anxiety. His most recent pitch at Scottish Edge won him £100,000.

EIE support Scotland’s technology entrepreneurs to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Their flagship event showcases over 50 tech entrepreneurs to over 800 investors, business leaders and entrepreneurs. For over a decade, Maryanne has worked with EIE to make sure they are all pitch-fit through a series of workshops.

Scott-Moncrieff is one of Scotland’s leading independent firms of chartered accountants and business advisers. They work across all types and sizes of organisation advising clients at every stage of the business life cycle.
The team wanted a programme around ‘pitching to win business’, a streamlined, successful programme to stand out from the crowd.
Cornelian Asset Managers
Cornelian is an independent investment management company with 30 employees, founded in 1992. They have clients ranging from individuals and their families to significant pension funds and charities.
They enlisted Maryanne’s help to establish a consistent approach to their presentations and increase the confidence of their team with an array of hint and tips.
Personal Investment Management Firm
The firm provides discretionary investment management to private clients. They are based in East Lothian and have 43 employees.
They needed a solution that would ‘raise the bar’ in terms of their presentations and deliver more positive results. A proposed programme of two half-day sessions produced some noticeable results.
